My favorite aspect of Mailchimp is its ease of use. It makes email marketing accessible even for beginners, with its simple drag-and-drop editor and intuitive interface. This allows businesses to create professional campaigns quickly without needing a lot of technical expertise.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The pricing can be a downside, especially as your subscriber list grows. While the free plan is great for beginners, the costs can add up quickly for larger lists or if you need access to advanced features. Additionally, some of the more advanced customization options can feel a bit limited compared to other platforms.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

What differentiates Mailchimp from other similar products?

Mailchimp is the only major email marketing provider I know with a truly functional drag and drop campaign email builder. I love the live preview option , which allows for previewing how emails will be presented on different screen types. Very importantly, I am able to edit templates and customize them extensively with Mailchimps drag and drop emails builder without getting into the nitty gritty of writing HTML and CSS codes.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Email marketing is efficient when multiple softwares are made to work together, courtesy of integration. Mailchimp does exceptionally well in this area , thus enabling a lot more automation and efficiency in my email marketing campaigns, than will be otherwise possible, if integration with third party apps were limited.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I am not very keen on Mailchimps preference to coining their own terminology for regular , everyday terms in email marketing. For example, rather than have standard customer journey tools, MailChimp calls them automation flows. Content placeholders are known as merge tags, media library is called content studio. The aforementioned disparity can be an easy source of confusion for new users of the Mailchimp platform , especially those already used to regular terminologies from other email marketing programs.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Mailchimp is intuitive and simple at its core. This makes it the top choice for me, because of how quickly email campaigns can be set up without navigating complexities.
