What differentiates MathWorks MATLAB from other similar products?

Matlab provides the most advanced and easy coding environment where mathematical problems related to engineering can easily be solved along with other problems. It works consider the data in a matrix and the operations are easy to handle with a few lines of logical code. Again Matlab is powerful tool and can work very fast to solve the problem. It is not open source software and the price is quite high. But it is a good product for all academics.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I love the way it solves complex problems with simple command. The matrix operations a quite easy and it is more handy to solve mathematical statements.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I think the update and generation rate of different libraries is comparatively lesser than some open source coding software which reduces the overall functionality.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It is a good tool to use for engineering students for project and research as well as for data scientist.

What differentiates MathWorks MATLAB from other similar products?

The easiness of working with mathematical framework is a winning feature of Matlab. In my experience, no other software available are so mathematically fluent as Matlab.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Being a math savvy person, the mathematical fluency which I get in Matlab is my favorite aspect. In addition, the signal processing toolbox is also a delightful experience.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Not really a dislike, but would like to see some features which can make plotting easier.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you are more focused on mathematical equations and structure, and also want machine learning capabilities in parallel, Matlab is the go to product. And if I recall correctly, students get a cheaper license.
