What differentiates MathWorks MATLAB from other similar products?

MATLAB is the only tool where you design your logic and it swiftly converts it into a C code which you can dump into your ECU. MATLAB is the only top programming language dedicated to mathematical and technical computing. MATLAB Stateflow makes the development of your project easier. this is best feature of MATLAB

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

You can skip a thousand lines of code and develop your design graphically and then MATLAB has a conversion window wherein you can convert your models into C code. You can simulate your vehicle features/ signal imaging and various other things you work on. MATLAB scripting is a cakewalk as compared to programming languages You can automate your work using m-scripting

What do you dislike most about this product?

MATLAB needs more memory on your computer otherwise, it hangs. MATLAB license is costly, so you cannot procure it easily. It takes more time to execute compared to C/ C++

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Just go for it!! It is the best tool in the market for computation, programming, visualization or analysis

What differentiates MathWorks MATLAB from other similar products?

It's simple and logically easy to understand and decode. Since it's widely used, lot's of resources are there to help. It's can be connected to numerous other applications like opensim for biomechanics, vicon for 3D data collection. It can be give instantaneous plots which can used in presentations and publications.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Use of matrices and it's comparability with vectors in real world.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I would be more happy if it prompts the code and improve its editor so that debugging is easy and syntax errors are minimum.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Start as soon as possible and learn various techniques from its help book. Attended it's seminars and presentations to know about the new elements. Try integrating software with other softwares to speed up the process.
