What differentiates Mattermost from other similar products?

Mattermost has clean user interface compared to Citrix Podio.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It unifies team in one place where it boosts team collaboration across all business units.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The then issues are no longer a bothersome since they were rectified when I updated my iOS mobile app.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Try mobile application since it is easy to use with no frequent log outs due to inactivity.

What differentiates Mattermost from other similar products?

It can be self-hosted, so you own your data.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The self-hosted option has all the features that I need

What do you dislike most about this product?

They dropped the "focalboard" plugin, which I was really expecting to use.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you are planning on using the self hosted version, go for the docker version, or get a server that you can keep up to date. I had some issues when they leveraged the postgres version.
