Look at Azure Data Factory's Strengths
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Microsoft Azure Data Factory from other similar products?
Azure Data Factory and AWS Glue are both players in the data orchestration game, but they've got distinct vibes. Azure Data Factory flaunts a more straightforward setup, with a familiar feel for those already in the Microsoft ecosystem. It's like your reliable hometown coffee shop – you know what to expect, and it gets the job done efficiently. So, while Azure Data Factory provides that comfort of the known, AWS Glue spices things up.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I really appreciate Azure Data Factory's versatility in seamlessly handling a variety of data sources and transformations. The user-friendly interface and ease of integration make it a standout tool.
What do you dislike most about this product?
One gripe with Azure Data Factory is its somewhat rigid monitoring - it's like waiting for a postcard instead of real-time updates. transformation functions, while good, could use a bit more spice for complex data dances. Debugging feels like searching for a needle in a haystack at times.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you're diving into Azure Data Factory, here's the lowdown: It's a solid choice for wrangling data in the cloud. Just wish for real-time monitoring and fancier transformation functions. Also, imagine if it could cozy up with machine learning a bit more and buff up its debugging game
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Performance Enhancing
- Trustworthy
- Unique Features

Azure Data Factory - Awesome Product

What differentiates Microsoft Azure Data Factory from other similar products?
Azure Data Factory is a cloud service for data integration management that collects and links diverse data. In addition, it can be linked to various systems to automate multiple information extraction processes required for data analysis. It can also be used for data integration, such as ETL and ELT. ADF allows linking and using fragmented data through the development of ICT, accelerating the diversification of systems used in the enterprise from on-premises to the cloud. It makes business more efficient and convenient, as data is accumulated, analyzed and used efficiently i.e., centrally managed. Transforms collected and stored data. Allow
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
df is an ETL tool provided by MS, what I like most is that it is easy to use and we can easily connect to third party resources using link services to get datasheet. We can create separate files for the source and the repository and using the channel work we can use all the variables and use the repository to get the desired results. We use dbx workspace tokens to connect directly to Databricks and we can use ADF to connect to our Databricks books.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It's unbelievable how they keep renaming and rebranding things. SQL Warehouse becomes Azure Synapse. If you ask someone what is Synapse, they will give you a different answer than the other answers and it will be both. It's enough for MS to name their products correctly and stick with them without repetition.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
My recommendation is to definitely go for this product. It is currently the best product available in the market and it can be used in both of the workloads i.e. ETL and ELT . Its is easier to use , no setup required and integration available with 100+ sources to fetch data. Also if you want to migrate to and fro from one cloud tool to another it is useful.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Continually Improving Product
- Reliable
- Performance Enhancing
