Dependency Tracking APM / Network Monitoring - Code level , Number of requests failing , API response code error tracking AI/ML dynamic thresholds setting Diagnostic setting for logging and log anaytics workspace for querying the data

What differentiates Microsoft Azure Monitor from other similar products?

Azure Monitor provides monitroing for almost all resources under microsoft It's a toll where it provides integartion woth Teams, #rd party incident management tools like opsgenie , pager duty so that you can redirect your alerts to the incident mangement reporting tools We can set static as well as dynamic thresholds We can do network level monitoring, APM, VM monitroing to hcek list of processes , file system usage etc , and diagnostic settings integration to redirect logs to eventhubs/storage/accounts/logs analytics workspace logs anaytics workspace provide querying the data of logging very quickly

What do you dislike most about this product?

no change tracking respect to application deployments

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Start using the product wisely as data grows it can incur high cost so manage the systems accordingly

What differentiates Microsoft Azure Monitor from other similar products?

AI/OPs automated alerts and action support Direct integration with microsoft services Dynamic thresholds using AI/ML is really cool

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Monitor is not only about monitoring its about defining actions when something goes down along woth automated alerts , we use self healing for some componenets using action groups i.e. a feature of Monitor

What do you dislike most about this product?

Not as such , its really good product

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Use Azure monitor and do it with most integrations it support
