What differentiates Microsoft Azure Monitor from other similar products?

It's a Unified Monitoring Platform that is scalable and flexible. It collect logs and data from different sources, provide alerts, metrics, dashboard, application insights, and also integration with other Azure resources.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Alerts may be easily created through the Azure portal. The actions to be executed when an alert is fired, the resource type, the alert's condition, and the name and description can all be chosen from the dashboard

What do you dislike most about this product?

For some services, pricing is a little exorbitant, and configuration may seem difficult.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

With Azure monitoring, you get a single pane of glass for all your monitoring needs. It is Easy to navigate and can also monitor non-azure resources by installing an agent

A powerful and comprehensive monitoring and analytics service that allows you to gain insights into the health and performance of your Azure environment.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Azure Monitor integrates with other Azure services, such as Azure Log Analytics and Azure Application Insights, as well as with third-party tools and services, such as Grafana and Prometheus. It also supports a range of programming languages and platforms, including .NET, Java, Node.js, and Python, making it a flexible and versatile monitoring solution.

What do you dislike most about this product?

nothing to dislike as per m knowledge

What differentiates Microsoft Azure Monitor from other similar products?

Being able to integrate with the Microsoft suite, Azure is special because it makes multiple cloud services seamlessly work as one. You can transfer other OS and IT information to Azure when you make the switch to this program

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The scalability of Azure is a highlight that has not been beaten by other cloud based drivers. The ability to fully tranform the consumer experience digitally was a highlight and benefit

What do you dislike most about this product?

Training is not free which was off-putting as I tried to navigate getting my team and organization on board with the operating system - especially since we were used to Amazon and Apple OS.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Make sure to give permissions to other systems and apps to get the data transferred over. This streamlined to time to get our usage of Azure off the ground
