Data Virtualization with PolyBase: SQL Server's PolyBase feature allows it to query external data sources, such as Hadoop or Azure Blob Storage, without moving or copying the data. Licensing Flexibility: SQL Server offers a range of editions tailored to different needs, from the free Express edition for lightweight applications to the Enterprise edition for large-scale, mission-critical applications. Strong Integration with Microsoft Ecosystem: Being a Microsoft product, SQL Server integrates seamlessly with other Microsoft tools and platforms, such as Power BI, Azure, and Microsoft Office.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Enhanced Monitoring and Diagnostic Tools: More granular and real-time monitoring tools, especially for large and distributed databases, can help in proactive issue detection and resolution. Advanced Compression Techniques: As data grows, more efficient data compression techniques can help in optimizing storage without compromising performance. It has the access and integration to other Microsoft applications which is the biggest plus point for any user having MS SQL Server.

The installation process of this application is super easy. It can handle the large and complex data set.

From the cost perspective, it is slightly costly.

Microsoft SQL Server is a powerful and robust relational database management system. It handles large databases efficiently and quickly.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The installation process is very smooth and intuitive. Also, the documentation of the queries for retrieving and processing data is well-maintained and updated regularly. The database can be easily scaled as per requirements.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The user interface could be improved to make it more appealing. Also, Microsoft SQL Server does not integrate with platforms other than Windows.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would surely recommend using the Microsoft SQL Server because it is a good tool for managing, processing, and analyzing data.
