What differentiates Microsoft SQL Server from other similar products?

Even the Xpress version, offers a robust and very secure platform for our company. We have been using the various version they offer, such as Xpress, Developer and Standard, and we have now a very secure and reliable datacenter

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It is very secure and offers a lot of connection capabilities to a bunch of sources and tools.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Sometimes, get support can get complicated directly from Microsoft

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Use all the features it has, data storage, profiler, security. There is too much you can do with this software.

As consultant we must be skilled in MS SQL Server because so many clients have chosen it as an enterprise platform.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Ease of use and rich reference documentation provided by Microsoft.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Some odd syntax on occasion where a Microsoft developed, efficient, function would better serve the community.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

This decision is a "best" decision involving performance, economics, and data management strategy. The need to evaluate with an understanding of long term direction and costs is certain.
