What differentiates Microsoft Defender for Endpoint from other similar products?

It is integrated with a variety of applications and delivers comprehensive threat prevention to help educators enhance their learning environments.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

. It consists of both hybrid and multi-cloud that's why I like this solution. 2. due to its threat detection feature, I utilize it. It sends out a warning if a pc is, attacked. 3. It's a Microsoft-owned product within the azure ecosystem, it integrates seamlessly with any of the services I mentioned such as Iaas platforms, virtual machines, applications, etc.

What do you dislike most about this product?

1. The area that needs the most development is consistency. For example, there are several areas where the user interface is not consistent. 2. There are no specific reports supplied, so, you will have to perform a query, drill-down, export, and share it. 3. I would like it integrated with a product like Office 365 defender. I don't believe it has been yet integrated with that.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It is a simple integration with powerful capabilities and a plethora of features for the educational environment.

What differentiates Microsoft Defender for Endpoint from other similar products?

It automatically runs in the background. The customer support or service is very fast. When the device is turned on, this software starts to run automatically in the background and whatever user is doing on computer, this software keeps running and immediately reports user if any threat is detected on whatever site user is working on.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It removes the errors and bugs efficiently. It offers a free trial version. In the free trial version, user get to know whether they need an additional anti-virus feature or not. As it is free of cost, hence users have the chance to assess its importance and usability to work on. It also removes bugs and errors which is a plus and admired feature in eyes of users.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It is not updated from time to time. The interface is not user-friendly. It is not updated on regular basis. As this software is integrated with windows, hence automatic updates are required to stay updated but it does not come in regular fashion. Hence, it keeps lagging. Also, as a platform, it is not easier to work on. User finds it difficult to get access to different features as they are hidden and are not easier to get hands on.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It is free of cost. People today are price sensitive and they are most bothered with the price they are charged with. A platform with higher price will result in less potential customer but this platform is free of cost which makes it different and provides this software with a unique selling preposition as a brand.

What differentiates Microsoft Defender for Endpoint from other similar products?

What I found amazing about Defender was that this was a built-in security functionality from Microsoft, therefore we don't have to create additional network or representatives at the customer end which saves money and enhances entire system productivity. While contrasted to other 3rd part security solutions, this causes endpoint systems to be quite sluggish while scanning.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Microsoft has enhanced its Defender Security software functionalities and added additional features including sandboxing, web-based malware sensing, and incorporation with its EDR element, which is why we have begun utilizing Windows Defender Antivirus Software to significantly improve defense functionalities and speed up threat identification.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Malware removal took much longer. Windows browsers are the only ones that provide parental settings. More EDR functionalities are required.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I propose using Microsoft Defender, that is very compact and ideal for Windows Operating system security, in order to save money and enhance system reliability without installing an additional layer of devices and software providers on endpoints.
