Microsoft Defender for Endpoint is an enterprise endpoint security platform designed to help enterprise networks prevent, detect, investigate, and respond to advanced threats. Defender for Endpoint customers need to apply for the Microsoft Threat Experts managed threat hunting service to get proactive Targeted Attack Notifications and to collaborate with experts on demand. Experts on Demand is an add-on service. Targeted Attack Notifications are always included after you have been accepted into Microsoft Threat Experts managed threat hunting service.

What differentiates Microsoft Defender for Endpoint from other similar products?

What makes Microsoft Defender is that it comes pre installed and it's a free endpoint protection software. In addition, it receive regular updates and scanning is easy

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like that comes pre installed when one buys windows operating system. The software is very effective thanks to you regular updates The software makes deep scanning easy and it's very effective in dealing with viruses and other threats

What do you dislike most about this product?

Well, Microsoft Defender is limited to Microsoft users.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

For Microsoft users, Microsoft Defender offers best Endpoint protection features. It's cheap and offers amazing protection against internet threats

What differentiates Microsoft Defender for Endpoint from other similar products?

When it comes to Endpoint protection, Microsoft Defender offers best capabilities. It is inbuilt and reduces IT operation costs. In addition, it regularly receives updates and this keeps it sharp when it comes to dealing with online threats.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like that Microsoft Defender comes already deployed. The software is free for all MS users. The updates makes the software superior as it's always ready to deal with upcoming threats.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Not available for non Microsoft users

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

For all Microsoft users, Microsoft Defender offers more than sufficient Endpoint protection. I recommend it
