Microsoft Defender for Endpoint is an enterprise endpoint security platform designed to help enterprise networks prevent, detect, investigate, and respond to advanced threats. Defender for Endpoint customers need to apply for the Microsoft Threat Experts managed threat hunting service to get proactive Targeted Attack Notifications and to collaborate with experts on demand. Experts on Demand is an add-on service. Targeted Attack Notifications are always included after you have been accepted into Microsoft Threat Experts managed threat hunting service.

What differentiates Microsoft Defender for Endpoint from other similar products?

What I found amazing about Defender was that this was a built-in security functionality from Microsoft, therefore we don't have to create additional network or representatives at the customer end which saves money and enhances entire system productivity. While contrasted to other 3rd part security solutions, this causes endpoint systems to be quite sluggish while scanning.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Microsoft has enhanced its Defender Security software functionalities and added additional features including sandboxing, web-based malware sensing, and incorporation with its EDR element, which is why we have begun utilizing Windows Defender Antivirus Software to significantly improve defense functionalities and speed up threat identification.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Malware removal took much longer. Windows browsers are the only ones that provide parental settings. More EDR functionalities are required.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I propose using Microsoft Defender, that is very compact and ideal for Windows Operating system security, in order to save money and enhance system reliability without installing an additional layer of devices and software providers on endpoints.

What differentiates Microsoft Defender for Endpoint from other similar products?

Actually, Windows defender became a very strong and trusted software against viruses and unknown publishers applications. If Microsoft prevents users from turning it off or on. It will definitely will be the safest application ever. Moreover, it directly deletes the virus and keep it in a safe place until you acknowledge it and allow it. A lot to be said, But the nicest thing is the Microsoft defender is pre-installed!

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Native application which is definitely compatible with the operating system. Another antivirus sometimes when the license is expired it make the PC a complete rubbish, Laggy, and may prevent drives to update!!!!!!!!!!!! But with windows defender its totally different.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Nothing to dislike., I like this antivirus.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Don't engage any other antivirus with the Microsoft defender + Don't ever turn it off or allow any suspicious apps

What differentiates Microsoft Defender for Endpoint from other similar products?

It's free, and if you use Windows, it'll already be installed. It runs in the background of the Windows operating system without the user being aware of it.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It detects mailwares quickly. It receives updates on a regular basis in order to upgrade its database and improve performance.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Even though updates are important, having a lot of them in a short period of time can be annoying.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I recommend using it as a first line of defense against malware, but don't rely on it too heavily. You will become a target for them if you do so.
