What differentiates Microsoft OneDrive for Business from other similar products?

Being a Microsoft product, it is very easy to open the shared file in say Microsoft Word / Excel by clicking on the "Open in Desktop" app instead of viewing on the browser.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Real-Time Synchronization where multiple users can work while retaining full functionality of MS Office products is an amazing feature. For instance, MS Excel's standard "Share workbook" feature makes certain functions / formatting unusable in a shared workbook, but so far I have not noticed any such limitation while sharing files in One Drive for simultaneous editing.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Recipient of the shared document cannot add the file to their own One Drive and as a result, my team members and I need to go back to the e-mail to access the document shared using One Drive.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would recommend Sharepoint for collaboration unless cost is a constraint.

As all businesses are having confidential data and important files therefore storage is also required for saving your organizational related data. You can save your files and data in it and easily access it no matter where you are as it if helps in providing synchronization feature for syncing your data in your every device. Sharing, accessing, and collaborating on your files is a lot easier through it.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

After syncing your files it also allows you to edit and view your files and also provides real-time collaboration. Large-sized files and a large collection of images can also be saved in it. It also helps in interacting with MS Office files.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It is compatible with Mac and but a lot of issues have been faced by users regarding its compatible operating systems. It is lacking security and protection levels. It may take time to download and install it.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you want to update or edit a document you can easily do it online. It also helps in protecting your sensitive and confidential data.

What differentiates Microsoft OneDrive for Business from other similar products?

It is a stand alone solution for managing file storage and sharing. It provides support for the mobile version. It can be integrated with other Microsoft products to ensure enhanced productivity and functions while providing rich tools and features on your desktop and mobile devices. It is capable of recognizing multiple and complex file types. Its search tab allows quick access to any required file.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Its default security system allows you to secure your files. It allows you to share your files with non-Microsoft reliant users. It allows seamless integration with Office 365. It allows you to keep your files in different folders so you can keep hands on all the categories of your data in no time.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Some of the stored files get corrupted if not used for a certain time. It requires security monitoring for your data and information, so bigger organizations cannot use it as a standalone solution, it is better for only personal use. It uses a lot of sub-menus and drop-down menus, a lot of clicks might prove annoying at times.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It comes with rich tools to perform different tasks such as copy, share, upload, download, synchronize, and sorting, etc.
