What differentiates Microsoft OneDrive for Business from other similar products?

As an organization, we tend to use Microsoft software tools more than those of other vendors. The integration of Microsoft Onedrive with other Microsoft solutions like Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel is highly beneficial. For instance, the integration between Onedrive and Microsoft Outlook allows for easy sharing of Onedrive files that appear just like email attachments. This feature enables users within our company to collaborate on the same file rather than sending different versions back and forth via email.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

For almost five years and across two organizations, I have relied on Microsoft Onedrive. The top-notch security it provides for my saved files through encryption is the first thing that impresses me. Moreover, the seamless file sharing feature allows me to share files with both Onedrive and non-Onedrive users. The synchronization quality across devices is also excellent, making it easy and quick to access my saved files from various device types.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I am fully satisfied with Microsoft Onedrive for all my file storage, sharing, and collaboration needs. Consequently, I have not experienced any significant drawbacks using Onedrive for these purposes.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Onedrive is our go-to cloud platform for secure and easily accessible file storage. Being able to access my saved files from anywhere makes my day-to-day remote work effortless.

Security would be the main factor for us using this product.

Does involve some training which can take some time. If you're unfamiliar with the software, there may be a steep learning curve.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Spend time to explore the software and don't rush. Customer service is very helpful with answering questions.
