What differentiates Microsoft Power Query from other similar products?

The ease of integration and use amongst staff sets it apart. Also, power query increases efficiency and it is also very ease to understand and implement.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favourite aspect of power query is the data import and transformation commands. This features allows for ease data cleansing.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I dislike the difficult in implementing the M language using logical test.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would recommend the use of power query if speed and data security is the aim.

Extensive range of connectors (100+), including databases, APIs, web pages, cloud platforms (Azure, Salesforce), and files (CSV, Excel, etc.). 4. Power Query uses query folding, which pushes transformations back to the data source (e.g., SQL databases) instead of loading all data locally.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

One of the standout aspects of Microsoft Power Query is its automation and repeatability of data transformations. Once you’ve set up a data query with all your cleaning and transformation steps, you can save it and refresh the data anytime with a single click. This eliminates repetitive, manual work and ensures data consistency.

What do you dislike most about this product?

One of the biggest limitations of Microsoft Power Query is its performance with very large datasets. Performance can slow down significantly when dealing with millions of rows or complex transformations, especially if the data source doesn’t support query folding.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

What differentiates Microsoft Power Query from other similar products?

Dont remember there is any tool of such nature ever introduced or exist being Power Query at its bets

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Easier to work through and time saving (with even less tech knowledge)

What do you dislike most about this product?

It doesn't automatically refresh with added fields as you have to edit and bring back those (Ideally if there is no filtration to columns then should automatically pick up the latest structure), at time using Power Query for Sharepoint data files become nightmare

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you are struggling by consolidating the excel files manually, Power Query is like a Super HERO
