Microsoft Project helps you create and manage project plans, collaborate with your team, and customize templates.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Numerous industries depend on MS Project as it can oversee and manage complex project timelines and schedules.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It does have a steep learning curve that can seem intimidating to new users, and the overwhelming amount of feature capabilities can seem daunting. MS Project

Microsoft Project helps you set goals, create schedules, allocate resources, manage budgets, track tasks, report results, and create new projects effortlessly.

What differentiates Microsoft Project from other similar products?

Microsoft Project have great collaboration features and reporting that can integrate with PowerBI.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Great collaboration within IT teams

What do you dislike most about this product?

License fees is expensive

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Everyone can see each person's tasks, and it was beneficial to find bottlenecks and take countermeasures. Gantt charts can also be created in Excel and integrate with PowerBI

It’s a great product that has massively improved in recent years. It caters well for waterfall projects and is starting to improve for agile.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The new Kanban boards are very helpful.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It’s needs more focus on agile project delivery.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Think about which project approaches are in use: agile / waterfall. The product caters well for both but mostly waterfall.
