If you have a clear view of the work ahead and enoug information, you can whip out a gantt chart for a project in a couple hours that will be easily adjustable when you get detailed input from project experts in your team.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The price. As the internet meme says, it's too high. I hope Microsoft will consider adding Project to the Office 365 offerings.

For the purpose of project planning there are templates provided and also visual roadmaps. Microsoft Project enables us to do budget forecasting for our projects and keep track of all the costs associated. Resource allocation for the projects is also possible in the platform. The platform also has tools for communication. It integrates with Microsoft Planner.

There is nothing honestly t dislike as everything works perfectly , it only misses the risk assessment fearture , other than that microsoft project works well.

Some of the features include budget management , templates that can be customized , resource management , both agile and traditional methodologies and tools for collaboration.
