What differentiates Microsoft Project from other similar products?

Firstly, it is a tool with many years of improvement and evolution. It is a tool with usability, many important features for project management. Another differentiate is that it has a lot of free online training, and a strong and very participative user community.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Gantt Charts - There are a lot of project management software out there, but Microsoft Project's ability to make large Gantt charts while just entering data on a screen is amazing. I manage projects, for the most part, through the tool's Gantt chart.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It could have an app to visualize key points of each project. It also needs to incorporate new techniques from agile project methodologies.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Test the product before you buy. It is important to know if the team will adapt to fill in the necessary information for project management. Once ok, people should create standards for releases. These moments define that project management will be efficient and standardized across teams.

What differentiates Microsoft Project from other similar products?

My workplace work in both circumstances. Sometime we need to work online when COVID cases are on rise otherwise we work at office. This all happens according to the situation and we needed a very suitable platform for this situation. Some worked well for online management only and some worked well for office based work only but finally we found Microsoft project, it works really well for both.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It comes with Grantt charts, agile projects, planning and automation of workflow, time tracking, calendars and what not. You name it you most definitely have it in here. It has been working out well for us since past 4 years and we never had to complain when it comes to this one. It is our virtual as well as on-premises work management tool and we do not have to adjust back when we come to office. A might one here!

What do you dislike most about this product?

Not a problem in the system itself but a few addition would really help to make it a better platform. First of all, it does not have an app which is quite unfortunate because an app for work management is an essential. Secondly, there is no free trial and you need to get on good verbal marketing and from the platform itself. These areas needs working on them.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Of course, it is highly recommended. It is a great work and tasks management platform for teams as well as whole office. The price can be a bit high for small businesses but it justifiable with all features and big firms can surely afford it. S if you can get this one, don’t even waste a moment.
