My right-hand man: Microsoft Publisher!
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Microsoft Publisher from other similar products?
I have been using Microsoft Publisher for almost 25 years and it has never let me down. Easy to use and manipulate, integrates with all other Office applications, and is backed by a wide community.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I was able to initiate someone in Publisher in under 10 hours, that's how easy it is. Allows manipulations to objects that no other software provides while allowing the creation of near-perfect publications. Whatever I need to create for publishing, digital or hard copy, Publisher is my go-to software. I just love it.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Sometimes, table cells refuse to accept my modifications and there is no clear way to define their size: I just have to wing it and rely on luck to get what I need.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Microsoft Publisher is a very powerful ally that can get things done for you: mail merge, business cards, flyers, banners, etc. You name it and Publisher delivers. I consider it the hidden gem of Microsoft Office that is as important as Excel and Word.
