What differentiates Mimecast Advance Email Security from other similar products?

They are the leading forfront alongside with Microsoft, i do feel that they have many features that take away the tedious task, and have looked at other email securities and mimecast is years ahead

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

the ease of use, being able to adjust any little detail to tailor it, and able to research emails, block emails, and have front facing notifications to users

What do you dislike most about this product?

some products that do not work, and have tried multiple times with support to help, but no avail

This is a great product, and their sales always works with you on best pricing.

Mimecast Email Security & Resilience is great for email protection against spam , phishing , ransomware and it has AI-powered detection which is very efficient .

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

as using email has become basis of communication in and outside for an organization it is important to have Security over emails which is provided by Mimecast Email .it also help to avoid payment fraud .

What do you dislike most about this product?

ui interface can be little confusing sometimes and sales teams should be more helpful .

you should give Mimecast Email Security & Resilience try as it also have videos to help you understand working and importance of email protection .

What differentiates Mimecast Advance Email Security from other similar products?

We tried solutions like Cisco mail and Symantec Email Security cloud, but following ways Mimecast was different from others 1. API integration is simplistic and straight forward, documentations were to the point declaring the points. 2. There were some lags in service, but query resolving progress were polite and easy. 3. When it comes to blocking malicious emails, Mimecast security exceeds more than 90% accuracy. 4. Compliances and policies were client friendly and flexible.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Some pros I liked when using Mimecast Security. 1. Mimecast was implemented in our organization, and it were able to provide quick alerts for any waiting messages. You have to physically click "release" "Allow" or "Block" you decide what you wish to do with a particular email. 2. If by any chance that the email got stuck due to any reason, the dashboard shows the clear picture of all abnormalities in order. 3. The free trial aspect is amazing feature as one can use to to test the organization goals aligns with the solution or not.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Some downsides of Mimecast that were present. 1. It blocks most of the malicious emails, but sometimes it blocks the normal ones too, our seniors had to retrieve them manually. 2. Some of the files format are not supported in attachments, one fix was to compress them in zip with a password. 3. Every time error or any unwanted error shown by Mimecast, it always does this by opening a separate tab in web browser. 4. Initial setup was bit nightmare to as configuration can be little intimidating for new users.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Overall all, Mimecast is good solution for securing emails and management of them. Although there are some downside of using Mimecast, but that goes for other alternatives as well. For me, I found the customer service to be friendly and progressive. One can use this solution on trial version and see if Mimecast Email fits the needs, one can without a doubt implement this solution in an organisation.
