New and Innovative features being added to keep the product up to date.

Rate limit and slow rate protection on Layer 3,Layer 4& Layer 7

What do you dislike most about this product?

As of now I don't find anything negative.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

This product as two check points on rate limiting per sec and rate limiting by minute. As far as I know, no similar product has these. Configuring Mitigation of slowloris attack is much more flexible on this product.

What differentiates Nexusguard Managed DDoS Mitigation Platform from other similar products?

After reviewing the market in full, and speaking with 5+ other vendors, it became apparent that not many are truly set up to protect carrier networks such as ours where multiple upstream providers are present.. NexusGuard stood out with features and automation to support this, offered a full no-obligation trial and pricing was sensible. The development and support for IPv6 has been a welcome addition, and we continue to recommend other industry peers to their services.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The autonomous inspection of our flows from our core/edge routers, along with automatic announcement of affected prefixes through the NexusGuard cloud scrubbing centre.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The control panel is good, but is a little difficult to navigate. I believe it would benefit from an external UI/UX redesign, away from those internally that 'know it'. It's certainly not unusable as it stands, but the flow and location of items takes some working through. I would also be in greta favor of NexusGuard operating a high capacity (multiple 400G links) between their scrubbing centres globally, or at least the key eyeballs, such as London, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, etc to allow for redundant scrubbing centre access without reliance on 3rd party backhaul of GRE tunnels.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you operate a autonomous BGP network with multiple upstream carriers, then NexusGuard is a rare find. They offer the detection and cloud based scrubbing capacity in one, with true 24x7 support. Go for it!
