What differentiates OnePlan from other similar products?

Ability to split tasks so that we can assign specific effort/hours to different resources for each phase of our project but not expose any of this information to our clients. None of the other software we looked at had this capability. Ability to integrate with SharePoint and Dynamics 365 for a more integrated workflow.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The reporting is amazing! PowerBI is extremely powerful and we have rebuilt all of our previous operational reporting (timesheets, portfolio, project) and added so much more (audits, resource utilization, resource planning & forecasting, task management)!

What do you dislike most about this product?

While the split tasks are a feature that differentiates One Plan, they are not fully integrated into all of the workflows, views, and home page insights, which takes away some of the value of the product. I sincerely hope One Plan will invest in improvements for Professional Services/split tasks in the near future. Limited abilities with importing/exporting, and OneConnect automations are some other pain points.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The sales process was very flexible and we were able to "test" configuration before purchasing., which was a helpful approach to understanding how One Plan's capabilities and limitations impact your business/workflows. For admins: the configurations that can be made are very easy/straightforward. For Project Managers: the PM features in the work plan are very flexible for a variety of scheduling options. For team members: Timesheet entry is easy, and integrations can allow users to see more information than ever in one place. For Managers: PowerBI reporting is amazing and you will love the visibility/different ways to see the data.
