OpenText ALM - The Quality Czar!

Likeliness to Recommend

9 /10

What differentiates OpenText Software Delivery Management from other similar products?

There are a few ALM tools out there, but OpenText ALM excels in its ability to handle a mix of manual and automated testing. This is crucial for us in Dubai retail, where we deal with both cutting-edge mobile apps and legacy systems.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

OpenText ALM's reporting features are phenomenal. I can generate detailed reports on test execution, defect tracking, and overall project progress. This allows me to keep stakeholders informed and make data-driven decisions about product releases

What do you dislike most about this product?

Let's be honest, OpenText ALM's interface isn't the most intuitive. It can be a bit clunky to navigate at times, especially for new users. I sometimes find myself spending extra time just figuring out where to find specific functionalities

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you're a QA lead or manager in retail, and rigorous quality control is paramount, then OpenText ALM is definitely a strong contender. However, be mindful of your team's technical expertise. The learning curve for the interface can be a bit steep
