Supports big data analytics. High availability of data. Great in data replication and back up.

Not highly responsive in mobile devices. Does not support unstructured data.

You need Oracle database for complex data processing and computation.

High speed processing due to distributed processing. Supports big data analytics and business intelligence. Complex data processing.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

High availability due to data replication and backup. Data import and export is easy through scripts. Availability of free tools for learning and training.

What do you dislike most about this product?

A bit expensive. Non-structured data is not supported.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Great RDBMS for complex data and big data analytics.

What differentiates Oracle Database from other similar products?

Supported on multiple platforms, either on-premise, cloud or hybrid environments. Allows both transactional and analytical/reporting workloads. High Availability options including RAC (Real Application Cluster) + Disaster Recovery with Active/Active standby options.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Reliabilty. I have worked with databases that stayed online for more than a year without any significant issue or performance impact

What do you dislike most about this product?

Usually is more expensive than other products for On-Premise licensing.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It is the most complete and reliable RDBMS. You need to evaluate the features required by your organization and can decide which edition suits better your needs.
