What differentiates Oracle E-Business Suite from other similar products?

Oracle E-Business Suite helps us run our daily operations effectively. Global Projects, which has few restrictions and enables users from different places to book their time and expenses to the project-owning organization, is what we typically employ. Although documentation is editable, Oracle Support can help clients who require it, like us.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The system's complete flow is well-organized and has various options tailored to fit everyday business operations without requiring add-ons from the partner communities. The out-of-the-box features are excellent and care for an organization's basic needs. The product is built on a solid basis and uses cutting-edge technologies. To adapt and enhance internal technical resources to meet business needs.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The financial operation part of the EBS Product Line is constructed using Java native forms. It is incompatible with the Microsoft Edge browser because it is not supported. Technology has been unable to advance because of this problem. The transition from Oracle forms to OAF forms is not planned. The DW and reporting need to be integrated.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It seemed more complex at first, as usual. But after working hard for a month, we were able to appreciate all of its excellent capabilities, like procurement, rejection and Return to Vendor, revisions, etc. Because it is one of the most cutting-edge database providers and offers a software platform for businesses of all sizes, it is an advanced system that provides complete business administration.

What differentiates Oracle E-Business Suite from other similar products?

Oracle EBS Financials is the most effective ERP tool for handling finances. It offers each component required to keep up a firm's financial operations. The product, which we recently upgraded to a newer edition, has taken care of our main accounting chores. Oracle has drawn criticism from some clients for being more challenging to use than rival systems like AX.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Implementations were usually stable despite specific data security issues. Because upgrades weren't thoroughly vetted, they feature a few minor flaws. P patches sometimes affect items that need to be specified explicitly in the patch. Excellent customer and people service consistently. Technical staff available to assist with product and future planning. We have successfully built several adaptations to solve any missing feature in this product, which has ultimately delivered on its promise.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The oracle alters things over time since it is mature. Sadly, Oracle is still using the outdated change management approach in light of how quickly the competition is growing. The whole suite consists of supplemental modules that must be configured to work as a single, integrated system. Any error won't result in the expected results.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Good enterprise solution; however, setup cost more overall and took longer than expected. Within the first year of operation, unstable data volumes caused by corrupted or too large data volumes arise. The Account Payable package is lovely, and the AR, GL, and FX packages are top-notch. Inventory reports need to be changed right now for our business. The majority of changes originate from all accounts combined.
