What differentiates Oracle Primavera from other similar products?
In the field of construction delay analysis and arbitration, P6 is clearly the most reliable tool for project programming and management. That makes it a mandatory software product for the existing construction projects for the purpose of planning, monitoring and reporting.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It is robust and reliable. Unlike other software products it never crashes and the progress is never lost. It is designed in a way that the programmes can be used as an evidence years after the project is finished.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It is slow, and with each latest updates it is getting slower. There has to be an option for a stand alone user to select what part of projects are needed for the analysis and only those can be loaded in order to increase the speed of usage.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
There is no other product as reliable and robust. It has made a name in the industry and is constantly evolving.

What differentiates Oracle Primavera from other similar products?
I have not tested any project management application that can do what Primavera does, as the critical path method that Primavera follows to refer the path of completion to the project is one of the best and most accurate methods, add to this the interrelationship of the results we get, especially when it comes to calculating delays related to claims and also in the cash flow account . And the development that got Primavera over the past years, increased our capabilities to cloud storage and share updates, increased its strengths.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I love Primavera a lot, as it enables you to prepare a real work program regardless of the preparation of activities, which may be in thousands and in a variety of fields. It also allows us to track all types of associated resources such as labor and materials as well as monitor the cash flow of the project. I like the options for linking activities so that you can link them with correct relationships, and the accuracy in calculating total float and free float is difficult to find in other programs. The best part is the comparison between Actual Progress and Planned and many other tools that enable you to make informed decisions.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I think that after the user completes the correct training and learns how all the tools work, he will not find any difficult issues and he will be able to prepare and update programs and extract achievement percentages with ease.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
It is indispensable to use Primavera, even if you have other programs to follow up on tasks, as it is a protection for the work team, especially when preparing claims and calculating delays.
