What differentiates Outreach from other similar products?

Outreach is always on the cutting edge of new features, but they also value customer feedback on how to improve their existing features. They are always willing to provide additional ideas and teach about best practices for improving out experience with the tool.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The ability to multiply a single reps reach easily. Nothing gets lost in terms of follow up and we know our leads are getting worked

What do you dislike most about this product?

Some of their search capabilities are a little bit wonky and prospect management is a bit rigid

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Take advantage of all of the learning materials they give access to. There are some great gems in there.

Make sure you also have a lead look up tool like ZoomInfo to go along with Outreach. Will find more success

What differentiates Outreach from other similar products?

I've used Outreach at two companies now. The first time I have to admit it was lacking in a few functionalities. We chose them but ended up leaving and going with their director competitor. At this new company, they ended up going with Outreach and I'm happy to say they have worked on and have fixed the issues(mostly with reporting). To me, that means a lot. It means they listened to customer feedback and implemented the changes. If you're in a sales role or sales enablement role like SDR or management I would say Outreach is a must. It takes you to a whole different level and ups the chance of a prospect getting back to you.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The automation. As a salesperson, I need to reach out to many prospects in a variety of different ways. Usually, that was done manually. Now I'm able to set a plan and let the system automate that plan. In addition to that, it will also allow you to change directions depending on how the client responded. This helps so you don't seem like a robot.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Honestly nothing now. I had some qualms about reporting and how it showed data a few years back but they have since fixed that issue. Its a little busy and takes some getting used to but all that data is important.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Just give it time and pay attention during the training sessions. Their team knows their stuff and if you pay attention you won't need extra help later on. Some on our team who weren't that tech-savvy needed some extra training but they were the ones who didn't pay attention during the initial ones. For those comfortable with new tech you'll be fine, so will the other group. Just make sure you pay attention.
