What differentiates Plivo from other similar products?
Plivo services are straightforward to implement and they are very reliable. Our interviewers report nice call clarity across the country. We can move interviews from phone to text to the web easily. When Covid hit and our facilities were closed, we created a very speedy and really easy transition to at-home work for our interviewers. Due to Plivo, we were able to have the interviewers calling within days.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Plivo’s SMS has been very smart from the start. The support after we 1st set up the account, and current support have been excellent. The best factor we like about the company is that its pricing is additionally competitive compared to a number of its competitors like Twilio. Whereas they don’t supply several services, we still find that their pay-as-you-go option has worked for us. Some services need monthly minimums, plivo does not. Ordering new numbers is quite straightforward as well. All in all no headaches with Plivo, it’s a good choice for reliability and value! Their support team is additionally top-notch. Keep up the nice work Plivo.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Plivo upgraded its API and we weren’t aware that the heritage version was ending. That said, the transition to the new version was easy. This was more of a communication problem and it may have been on our end as we’ve found very little to dislike about Plivo.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Plivo was suggested by a consultant and the services provided by Plivo have lived up to and exceeded the recommendation. It works for our desires and that allows us to specialize in getting our work done.

Configuration to enable/disable regions and countries appears buggy. For instance, adding a region resets the list, which forces you to start from scratch. It’d be far better if regions could be added/removed without actually resetting the list.

If you’re looking for a cost-effective, easy-to-integrate answer for SMS and MMS delivery, look no further.
