What differentiates PowerSchool SIS from other similar products?

I think what differentiates powerschool sis from other similar products is the amounts of jobs it can help me accompplish in one simple to access platform. It is clear and basic, simple to use and a good way to start managing or adminining a program.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect of PowerSchool is the way the easy to access layout for basic IT lookup info and I enjoy the way it can swiftly connect and transfer data overnight to other programs. As a software it really does " Play well with others" and really does a good job transfering data between platforms without glitches or missing information.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I think what I dislike the most about power school is that the dashboard truly feels antiquated and the font feels like a very basic font. I feel that I have to really dig through if i want to create reports and it is not very user friendly to create the most detailed reports in a timely fashion. It really takes time and cosulting with other to figure out how to create new reports. I think a set of tutorials that is easy to follow would eliminate this issue.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would recommend talking to someone who has used it before and have them give you a tutorial. It is not very user friendly at first, but eventually it becomes familiar, even with its nuances. I would also reach out the the company to see if they would be willing to train you on the product. Even just a crash course would be a great way to start.
