The filter tree for organizing and sorting through test cases is a standout feature. Ease of use and an intuitive interface is also a well-done, highly desirable feature.

It does one job--provides a place to write and store testcases. If that's all you need, it's a fine option.

To list the features that you must have to conduct business and choose the product that meets those requirements as opposed to just reaching for the lowest cost option.

What differentiates PractiTest from other similar products?

The features that set PractiTest apart from other tools include the ability to clone test cases across different projects, the integration with Jira, the ability to use webhooks for integration with our custom automation tests, and the extensive filtering functionalities.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

We love the ability to create custom fields and to set up filters. Being able to use filters instead of folders like many other test case management tools really allows more flexibility and allows us to organize our test cases into many different categories. We also love the clear visibility of test cases in Jira and being able to see their run status along with being able to click right into the test case from the Jira ticket.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The thing we dislike most is the fact that a test case always reflects the most recent run status. For our purposes, we use the same test cases for many different pages, so in order to have clean records we have to clone our test cases for each page that we are testing. It would be preferable if the test case didn't carry the past run's history with it when using it again in a new test run.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

We definitely recommend this product; while it has it's quirks and areas of improvement, overall it is very flexible and those things are easy to work around. It has been an immense help to us with keeping our regression test cases organized and being able to quickly and easily set up test runs. The features that are included for the price of the product really make it a great choice.
