What differentiates Progress MOVEit from other similar products?

We are in Crypto offering a terminal for crypto trading and therefore we handle sensitive information all the time. We procured Progress moveit because it offers secure data encryption with zero chance of being compromised. It also has the option to engage the IF statements which allows us to run custom files on tasks without having to rewrite the task in entirety. It's quite simple to use moveit for automated tasks with little expertise on programming required, all our staff have an easy time using it.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It has a mobile version that works well in both androids and iphones to increase your flexibility in sharing files. Progress moveit also performs relatively well when transferring large files - no notable latencies and completes the tasks rather quickly. It allows sharing of files across different website domains in encrypted formats.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Although transfer of large files is quick, moveit opens the files quite slowly which is disappointing. Moveit has limited custom reporting functionality.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Moveit would be a great solution for file transfer and will be more beneficial as it complies with HIPAA if you are in the same line of business as our company. Your team will be able to swiftly navigate the software with little help needed from the IT team - it supports simple and quite basic files drag and drop functionality just to mention a few.

What differentiates Progress MOVEit from other similar products?

I'm not sure other systems would be able to handle the sheer amount of files that go in and out of our company every day. We offer as part of our services to our customers a way to securely transfer needed files, which we use MoveIT for.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It is easy to set up automated jobs to transfer files.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It is difficult to find solutions to errors sometimes.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

MoveIT it a great solution for SFTP

I like the reliability of MOVEit. It requires very little human intervention and seldom requires human intervention.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Exorbitant rates for support outside normal business hours.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Opt for vendor support for initial implementation and upgrades, but be prepared to pay quite a premium.
