Qlik Sense is a business intelligence (BI) and visual analytics platform that supports a range of analytic use cases. Built on Qlik’s unique Associative Engine, it supports a full range of users and use-cases across the life-cycle from data to insight – with self-service analytics, interactive dashboards, conversational analytics, custom and embedded analytics, mobile analytics, and reporting. The solution comes in three different editions - Qlik Sense Enterprise, Business, and Team. Qlik Sense can be deployed in the cloud or on-premises.

What differentiates Qlik Sense from other similar products?

It provides a suitable platform for the enterprise ecosystem where development can be carried out with extensible and customizable APIs, big or small data could be integrated, apps can be loaded using a multi-cloud platform.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

With the augmented graphics and data discovery features, Qlik Sense helps in spreading data literacy which means that users regardless of their skill set and capabilities can learn to intuitively draw meaningful insights from data and hence, learn to comprehend data.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There are some issues on the client side like some features malfunctioning in iOS, qvf and qvw files not being saved separately etc.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

We use this product for reporting, data analytics, and other work as per the requirements of the project. It's a powerful tool that help

What differentiates Qlik Sense from other similar products?

Tons of customization possible. Reporting works great and easy to use once everything has been set up correctly.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Quick data download and visualizations possible in any setup you want (if you can set it up or someone can set it up for you)

What do you dislike most about this product?

Quite difficult to customize yourself without outside help or in depth knowledge.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Definitely check if your IT can help set this up and invest enough time in making the reports you need and want. Outside consultants are possible as well, but pricey.
