What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It fixed this problem we had with other backup solutions, and our favorite feature is the capability to recover a whole server instantaneously. Trying to enforce data retention regulations, infrastructure for accessibility, and security protection eta if data is hacked are all concerns that can be handled. A SLA domain is highly regarded and simple to backup and restore.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It is possible that some virtual machines do not backup on the agent owing to hardware suitability, however this is extremely unlikely across thousands of items. This can be solved with a simple snap and save, although it can be stressful at times. Configuring a cluster with Rubrik is both neat and time-consuming.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you really need to restore anything quickly, downtime is not even an option, and even if you have a limited backup team and you would like to spend a little less time maintaining backups, Rubrik might be your greatest friend. Rubrik is an excellent tool for small teams with complex infrastructure.

Using the API increases functionality significantly. The Rubrik cluster was straightforward to set up. Entering important deployment information in the CLI, such as IP, VLAN, Username/Password, and so on, and installing the newest version of CDM, were all part of the bootstrapping process. A fantastic product. From the standpoint of a system administrator with limited backup experience.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It's simple to use and works similarly to an Apple Time Machine backup in that you can browse for files and mount them almost instantaneously. It was simple to set up. There were a few minor snags throughout the deployment, but they were primarily due to site-specific issues; Rubrik's deployment and setup process were simple, easy, and quick. When you need it to be easy, it is, giving you several degrees of control.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Even though they said it was agentless for VMs, we had to install the agent on VM machines with huge backup files. Salespeople can be aggressive. Backup jobs must be changed when new discs or databases are introduced to the server. The user interface and process are simple to grasp. Most IT workers will have little trouble getting about.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Please get in touch with the support staff before purchasing the system for your team because the search tool failed to produce valuable results. If this isn't the case, the intranet can be used with this system in most cases. Gather information on your present system's implementation technique to make the process go more smoothly.
