What differentiates Rubrik Cloud Data Management from other similar products?

We had purchased Rubrik after being a customer for a very similar solution. Rubrik's features matched the features of the other solution however the Rubrik infrastructure was much more powerful and enhanced the value for those features. For example, live mounts (especially for our database servers) had less value for us historically because the appliance I/O couldn't handle the workload. Our Rubrik has met this challenge in all situations and we are very happy with it.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The hardware Rubrik sits on is capable of protecting all of our products/services.

What do you dislike most about this product?

We haven't had much to complain about. Our dislikes were mostly training issues on our end.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

We own our infrastructure and it was very simple to drop Rubrik in, configure, and manage. After we received our Rubrik, we moved from our former solution in a matter of one week. It was that simple.

Rubrik CDM made it simple to locate backups on many servers and discs. It is simple to find the document or directory I want to restore and the operation takes little time. Simple to use, we like how easy it is to handle support and how easy it is to modify code.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Some assistance is needed for duplication and archiving. Even while they both function, duplication to merely another Brik and archiving are often sluggish and not especially space- or bandwidth-efficient. the failure to handle relics' expiry The backups of a removed VM are still stored in Rubrik, but they cannot be made to expire.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Rubrik CDM prevails over more sophisticated options if simplicity is preferred. Simply said, formerly difficult duties are no longer necessary. Technicians may not like this, but it benefits the business and frees them from having to fiddle with an overly complicated backup architecture.

Rubric use is simply too beneficial. It is simple to set up and maintain. With an excellent UI for graphics and analytics, it handles a wide range of things to restore and manage through schedules. Trying to enforce data retention standards and improving infrastructure availability are only two issues that may be resolved.

When our operational servers were down, the product frequently saved us. A quick recovery is also fantastic. On the front lines, our users are continuously attempting to sort through the numerous, changing assault vectors. Although their alertness is an important component of the jigsaw, their loss is unavoidable. It may be an essential component of daily life in addition to being a reliable strategy for enduring the darkest days.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The amount of time it would have taken to recover the document would rely on the size, and you will then have to wait for it to be uploaded. The user interface might use some work and is still a little awkward. When we say anything that has to be performed or whatever we wish, they do cooperate with us.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

With the aid of Rubrik, recoveries are now irreversible, and SLAs have indeed been built up to push these to cloud store after a certain number of days. Thanks to Rubik scanning all files and enabling a google like searching to retrieve data, recoveries are now quite straightforward. It is now much simpler to manage the system and restore files.
