What differentiates Rubrik Cloud Data Management from other similar products?

Rubrik CDM is great at backing up and restoring Virtual Machines in our VMware environment and the live mount process works well to get a VM back up and running quickly and then migrating it back to the production environment. The replication process to replicate the backups offsite to the secondary Rubrik appliance also works well.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It has an excellent SLA domain feature, allowing us to set different levels of protection and recovery several of our data. It also helps ensure that our most critical data is protected and recoverable. Rubrik is also cost-effective solution that is easy to set up and manage, which has helped us save money on data protection.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The backup process for Microsoft 365 data works great, but the restore process has some room for improvement.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I have found Rubrik to not only be a simple to use platform but also, it has all the necessary features to ensure that our data is protected t all times. It has Robust data security features including automated backup, disaster recovery, and cost-efficient archival features.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Learning the GUI and workflow is simple. Most IT specialists have little difficulty navigating. Rubrik can expand its offering in a dynamic environment more quickly than troubleshooting a problem thanks to quick live mount options and software upgrades. You can look through the object's image history using the global search feature. The NAS Direct Archival allows data to be sent to an archival vault without using up local storage.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Oracle DB backup has long-standing issues with RAC instances and standby instances. Depending on where your users and groups are located in the AD hierarchy, the time it takes to log in using the integrated method can change. I tried to concentrate more, but I could have been more effective. It still works even if logging in takes around 20 seconds.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

My interactions with the vendor increased my regard for them because they started by offering excellent customer service. They quickly identified a problem's solution, and a few weeks later, they improved it. We put a lot of faith in technology because we have access to many of its resources.
