What is your favorite aspect of this product?

SAP HANA Cloud is its ability to provide real-time insights into large amounts of data. The in-memory technology, combined with advanced analytics capabilities, enables organizations to make data-driven decisions quickly and effectively. Additionally, the integration with other SAP products provides a unified user experience and enhances the overall functionality of the platform.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Currently no dislikes from my side cause it's worth the money which we are adding into it.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Consider your organization's needs: Assess your organization's specific data management and analytics requirements, and ensure that SAP HANA Cloud is the right fit for your needs. Evaluate your IT infrastructure: Ensure that your IT infrastructure is compatible with SAP HANA Cloud and that you have the necessary resources in place to implement and maintain the platform. Consider scalability: SAP HANA Cloud is designed to scale seamlessly, but it's important to plan for future growth and ensure that the platform can accommodate your organization's needs as they evolve.

What differentiates SAP HANA Cloud from other similar products?

While both the SAP Cloud Platform and the Oracle Cloud Platform offer API management, data, and application integration, leveraging real-time insights to design and deploy integrated applications, SAP has proven to be more advantageous for our company. Due to the fact that SAP HANA Cloud is a potent in-memory database technology that enables businesses to manage and analyze massive amounts of data in real time.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

We were able to consolidate all of our data sources using SAP HANA Cloud. As a manufacturing company, we conduct numerous transactions every day involving clients, vendors, and internal business procedures. We receive data from our clients, suppliers, and manufacturing facilities, which are dispersed throughout the world.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Because SAP HANA Cloud is a cloud-based service, businesses only pay for the resources they use. The price of adopting SAP HANA Cloud may be high, depending on the volume and complexity of an organization's workloads. Additionally, it must be made to be more "low code" so that business users can rapidly pick it up and utilize it to run their unique ad hoc analyses.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The majority of the data for a large manufacturing company with a lot of material movement across companies comes from the ERP. Because the ERP in our case was also SAP, creating your own analytics and ad-hoc requirements was quite simple. There may be better options on the market for small and medium-sized businesses that are using alternative cloud-based ERP.

What differentiates SAP HANA Cloud from other similar products?

Its "unique" user interface.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Management of vendors's accounts, inventory, and MRP is very powerful and detailed. The integration of the BOM, inventory, and other data for reliable order-scheduling, and the ability to track transactions with cost centers for managerial accounting is very valuable.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The product's UI is a large part of the learning curve. It behaves like no other GUI I have interacted with. Click behavior is different, it is cumbersome to try to toggle between many different tabs of options full of radio buttons and input fields that can often get hidden if the screen size isn't large enough.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

SAP is a huge player with a lot of training and support available. Of course, you must determine whether your business processes can be adapted to integrate with SAP. That means before even considering to implement it, you will need to map existing business processes and understand how the different functional areas are intended to work together in SAP. Oracle Cloud SCM also provides much of the same features and some more cutting edge implementations such as AI being able to prescribe recommendations in real time from shop floor sensors. It is worth comparing to other competitors. Generally speaking, it is cost-inhibiting/overkill for SMEs.
