What differentiates SAP BusinessObjects from other similar products?

Several stacks of the SAP BO BI suite tools are installed when the SAP BO BI Platform is set up on one of the BO servers. There are reporting tools included in this bundle. For example, clients with extensive web intelligence, SAP Crystal reports, etc. With the help of these BO reporting tools, we can complete the development. Because of its lower licencing costs and more user-friendly reporting tools, our company chose the SAP BO BI Platform.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Reporting needs can be met using the SAP BO BI Platform. This package includes reporting tools like Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, etc. These reporting tools enable us to create reports based on data from the database. We can create engaging visuals that aid in decision-making for the organization.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There is really little room for development at this point because it has progressed so successfully from BO BI 3.1 to BO BI 4.0, BO BI 4.1, BO BI 4.2, and now BO BI 4.3.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The scheduling of web reports in any format, such as PDF or Excel, and having them delivered to BI Inbox, emails, DLs, etc. at any regularity, such as daily, weekly, or monthly, was a best-suited scenario I encountered in the SAP BO BI platform. Users will benefit from having access to the most recent data and having the output readily available within their email whenever they need it.

What differentiates SAP BusinessObjects from other similar products?

We connected with DB2 and Sybase, which were used for reporting and data visualisation, to complete the organization's reporting requirements. Data warehousing features that enable connections to numerous sources.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Users of SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence (BI) can choose from a wide range of features. The most frequently used features are report scheduling, query creation, retrieval of queries created by other users, access to various databases, dashboard creation, and data export. These are the features that I enjoy using the most.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Limited data transformation capabilities and a lacklustre GUI in comparison to other tools on the market.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Please check out the better or equivalent alternative solutions that are currently on the market.

Price, in memory concept. Delay in adapting new features.

There are multiple options available in less price such as Power BI.
