Being a SaaS tool, it can lead to Performance issues if integrations not design with full knowledge

One of the standout aspects of ServiceNow APM is its deep integration with the ServiceNow ecosystem. Unlike standalone APM tools, it seamlessly connects with IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), and CMDB.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Steep Learning Curve: Due to its vast features and integrations, new users may find it overwhelming without proper training. Configuration Challenges: Customizing dashboards, reports, and workflows can be time-consuming for non-experts.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Align with Business Goals – Ensure APM fits your organization’s strategy (cost optimization, risk reduction, modernization, etc.). If you’re already using ServiceNow ITSM or ITOM, APM will integrate well. Otherwise, check if it aligns with your current tech stack.

What differentiates ServiceNow APM from other similar products?

ServiceNow Application Portfolio Management (APM) delivers a comprehensive picture of your application portfolio using the CMDB, discovery procedures, and cost modeling. This was the only solution on the market that covered the entire product lifetime, from demand to delivery, in comparison to other options.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

A digital platform for the Insurance Digital Marketplace based on the principle of opening main Audience Services up to plug-and-play and mix-and-match services bolstering value to clients and end-users through multi-channel technology solutions has been built using ServiceNow API gateway capabilities to link with Cloud platforms like AWS & Azure.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I don't like how the ticketing side has so many drop-down menu boxes. Additionally, Service Now doesn't integrate well with some of our office software programs. We do our best to get around that, but it would be nice to provide more capabilities that enable development-based customization.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The first authentic platform for enterprise service management is called Servicenow. The platform and other products can be seamlessly linked. This is a highly strong tool that serves a variety of purposes. In addition, the platform lets us assign subtasks including surveys, regular chores, and chain tasks.
