What is ServiceNow Asset Management?

ServiceNow Asset Management tracks the financial, contractual, and inventory details of hardware and virtual infrastructure – as well as non‑IT assets – throughout their lifecycle. Asset requests are handled using workflows to obtain approvals, validate entitlements, issue chargebacks, and provision services. Once an asset is deployed, Asset Management records all maintenance activity and enables IT to perform regular audits, right up until asset retirement.

User Friendly and all can be on single platform

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

iTSM, HAM, SAM CMDB are in same place.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Defining upgrade rights or downgrade rights are not defined anywhere in documentation or told in servicenow training.We struggled alot to know about it.Also how to add exemptions to software models.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Choose wisely who can do implementarion properly
