What differentiates ShareFile from other similar products?

ShareFile has become our go-to tool for secure file sharing and collaboration in the IT department. It’s the kind of solution that works seamlessly in the background, making life easier for both the team and our end users. With strict compliance requirements and a never-ending need for file sharing across departments, ShareFile delivers reliability, security, and ease of use.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

What I find most helpful is the secure link generator with detailed tracking. You don’t just send a file; you know who accessed it, when, and how many times. It’s a great confidence booster when working with external parties. The seamless integration with tools like Outlook also simplifies sharing—no need to bounce between applications, which is a blessing during busy days.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The mobile app. While functional, it sometimes feels clunky compared to the smooth experience on desktop.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

ShareFile has streamlined our file-sharing processes while keeping compliance requirements front and center. We’ve reduced the use of insecure workarounds, and audits are no longer the stress-inducing events they used to be. It’s clear, easy to track, and most importantly, secure—exactly what an IT organization needs when handling sensitive data.

More secure than Dropbox and simpler than Box. Perfect for big data applications like legal and healthcare.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Cheap and affordable, great tools for team management and seamless integration with Zoho's full suite.

What do you dislike most about this product?

A little complexity for non Zoho users, limited third party apps and occasional syncing delays with large files.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Best for Zoho users and great cloud storage on a budget. Non Zoho users should choose carefully.
