What differentiates Siemens NX from other similar products?

While CATIA has as an edge with PLM and Modelling, But NX gives faster way of selection and is has much better environment for 2D and 3D Modelling at once. Also integration for basic FEA has been more beneficial when talking about my experience. Also I see NX more suited for Aero Engine designing when compared with other softwares.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Ease of 2D and 3D modelling alon with friendly user interface. The tool becomes easier to play with.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The scope and domain allowed to to use NX to extend where I didn't saw anything I can complain or dislike to.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Go for this tool if you are looking for complete integration of 2D and 3D modelling along with drawings releases. It serves best for Gas Turbines design in my experience.

NX is the best user interface with parametric Ease of good handling . With best product managent .

I like to crate new parts ...and assemble..

What do you dislike most about this product?

Starting day of handling was tough due if you switch to other software...

Please improve with user interface for beginner

What differentiates Siemens NX from other similar products?

Siemens NX is a computer aided design software that allows you to completely simulate a software design before its actual implementation. It has powerful 3D designing mechanism that allows you to perform extensive tests and capture metrics across various parameters. This allows you to take a calculated decision. It has seamless integration mechanism which allows you to easily integrate it with variety of softwares and can be easily customized. It has high quality printing capabilities. Excellent visualization of the designs before implementation.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

High quality printing capabilities. Excellent support to rectify mistakes in designing. High customizable components.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Sometimes it has delay in 3D printing. When you design a system or hardware that is big and complex, it can cause the system to crash which leads to a bad user experience. However, i believe it would be taken care of in future releases. Cost can be a factor too for small companies.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

This is a pretty good tool to do all the homework and assessment before actually implementing the product. Go for it.
