Communicating Without Overcommunicating

Likeliness to Recommend

10 /10

What differentiates Slack from other similar products?

How it balances real-time communication with asynchronous workflows, that would have to be the one. It’s a messaging app, but it doesn’t demand constant attention if used right, thanks to channels and threads

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I’ve connected it with Dayforce to receive automated reminders about team availability, making my life a lot easier

What do you dislike most about this product?

Search functionality isn’t as sharp as it could be. Finding old conversations or files sometimes feels like hunting for a needle in a haystack, especially in active channels

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

take caution on managing notifications—it’s easy for it to become overwhelming if not configured properly

Pros

  • Helps Innovate
  • Inspires Innovation
  • Saves Time
  • Security Protects
