What differentiates SonicWall Network Security Manager from other similar products?

When compared to most of other firewalls, SonicWALL logging is much better. it is much easy to understand sonicWALL logs and faster fix to any problem. When it comes to site to site VPN feature, SonicWALL is better and more reliable. Connectivity is more stable and VPN won't disconnects that often.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Dashboard with all widgets will give proper information and visibility on what is happening in your network. URL filtering works like a charm. with other vendors it's bit difficult to configure and not consistent. with direct simple click from Logs we can fix the issues.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Their Licensing is bit expensive when compared other vendors. When compared to FortiGate SD WAN, sonicWALL has to improve their SD WAN capabilities.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

SonicWALL has to loose SSL VPN license option and should provide for free based on Hardware Specifications like FortiGate and Sophos. Now everything is on 10 G Links, SonicWALL small appliances also should offer 10 G FIber links. Now only NSA or High end firewalls have this feature. SD WAN feature can be much better and need to work on it.

SonicWall NSM lets you manage all your firewalls from one easy place. It helps you keep security rules the same across all locations. You get real-time alerts and reports to see threats as they happen.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like that it lets you control many firewalls from one simple dashboard. It saves time by letting you update all devices at once. The real-time alerts help catch problems fast.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It can be tricky to set up if you're not familiar with SonicWall products. Some advanced features might feel overwhelming for smaller teams. It could use more customization options for reporting and alerts.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Make sure your team is ready to manage multiple firewalls from one spot. Take time to learn the interface to get the most out of it. Consider a trial first to see if it fits your network needs.
