What is your favorite aspect of this product?

1) Browser end user monitoring helps to gain the visibility all the way to web browser, mobile and IoT applications. This helps revealing the impact, the browser and network have on the user experience of our applications. 2) Full stack monitoring provides the visibility all the way into our application stack and from the user interface to the database layer.

What do you dislike most about this product?

1) As the sheer volume of data collected by AppDynamics, which sometimes makes it difficult to relate with the actual issue. 2) It has been observed, that in some cases, AppDynamics agents deployed to monitor applications introducing performance degradation leading to slower response times.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

1) Define your Key Performance indicators which are critical for your business. such as end-user browser response times, throughput, error rates etc. 2) Also, if you face challenges in identifying the root cause during outages and use different tools to determine the cause of failure, AppDynamics will significantly enhance the organizational capabilities to monitor, troubleshoot and optimize application, infrastructure and network performance.
