What differentiates Splunk AppDynamics from other similar products?

Our marketing team has made a series of decisions through this program that has maintained the stability of our marketing platform by improving its performance and giving structure to the future of our marketing and sales department support (one complements the other). Thanks to this we are able to identify and deploy resources to the most successful project that can easily increase sales and maximize profits.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

We have a great level for the preparation of schemes and elaborate plans to turn them into final projects and reach their execution with a safe effectiveness through AppDynamics, having a safe supervision from your mobile application and a tracking of processes in development with its performance. A simple click of a button and I can see the response of the infrastructure, the user "clicks", complete with weekly/monthly reporting taking only minutes instead of hours or days.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It should have multiple agents for the variety of applications, not a single agent for all applications, its cost as a license is somewhat expensive for medium sized companies that want to start with the process, we can only talk about small details of the system because the truth is a very complete program in the vast majority of its code. For example, the cost of the extra license for the monitoring of the database can be a little more accessible.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Beyond a somewhat expensive license and details of the program we can only highlight an excellent program structured and recommended by us because it is the most suitable for monitoring the performance of production applications in real time. With the user-friendly user interface we can easily track the real-time performance of our application. As well as review additional data and monitor real-time performance.

What differentiates Splunk AppDynamics from other similar products?

We have several nodes operating for various micro-services as part of a caching solution we designed using Hazelcast Distributed Cache. As each microservice has a unique tier name, we are attempting to track the utilization of all business transactions to determine how long it takes to call out a certain API endpoint. We watch as the transaction proceeds between several parts. Additionally, we have established special health guidelines so that the support staff may make a choice.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

An excellent solution for monitoring infrastructure, including servers, databases, API endpoints, and business activities, is AppDynamics. It's really simple to set up AppDynamics; all we have to do is install a client on the infrastructure we want to monitor. The client can then be smoothly integrated with the application, such as spring boot, by just specifying the tier. The dashboard then displays right away. Even better is being able to see how the request is being distributed throughout the many micro-services. We can set up various alerts and exceptions and set up actions when the triggers are struck, from sending messages.

What do you dislike most about this product?

More details on product integration with other goods could be useful. Future plans include supporting more platforms. It's not about disliking, but the organization might concentrate more on UX.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Provides performance metrics for the servers and apps. The dashboard is simple to set up. Drill down method makes it simple to locate errors. The UI is highly straightforward and simple to use. Nice language documentation for implementing the controller with the agent.

What differentiates Splunk AppDynamics from other similar products?

Rich Features - Tracing, Code Simulation, AI.ML based data visualization etc.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Its part of Cisco and hence hoping some magic and integration around network segment or 1000Eyes

What do you dislike most about this product?

Price is on higher side. AI/ML based issues prediction is missing.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Highly Matured Product in APM space. Just go for it
