What differentiates Storyblok from other similar products?

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The number of features I can play around with as a developer also offers me many possibilities in extending our products and offerings, benefiting from enabling our customers to have the edge over the competition. Storyblok also provides complete flexibility with its apps, tools, and field type plugins. From a developer perspective, there is not much to ask for that could make it even better.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Bugs and feature requests that have been open for a long time should be handled faster. Also, some peculiar stuff like the index slug cannot be named "/" by default, which leads to some workarounds, etc. But in general, things improve with time.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Storyblok is just worth it. It might be a steep learning curve initially, but you can work around that with some knowledgeable consultants, the help of the incredible community or the Storyblok team. After you get used to all the quirks, you won't want to use any other Content Management System anymore. Just give it a try and enjoy the innovative approach and all the possibilities this Headless CMS offers.

What differentiates Storyblok from other similar products?

One of the most important things I would highlight is their services. Because it not only offers the features of any CMS, but also provides added services such as the Image CDN, a back-up system, ... And if something matters to me when I'm creating a site or platform is not to have hundreds of vendors and try to use all the services that a vendor provides me, so it's a big plus to have it all in one place and for such a low price.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The quality and speed with which they serve my data, the ease of use and development experience. Although without a doubt, the documentation was the first thing that made me want to try it and learn more, because it is very well explained and there is no room for error.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Since I've been using it, I've never had a big enough problem for me to dislike anything, but it is true that there are things that can be improved that they are working on. For example, in aspects of user customization, plugins are being created to connect with third parties that allow personalization of the site by target. And that's quite cool!

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you're thinking of getting started in the world of Headless CMS or Jamstack, Storyblok is a great option. Not only because it saves you setting up and hosting your headless, and the learning curve is practically non-existent, but also because you will have services at your disposal, that you would have to have with third parties, for the same price. It's cheap and with great quality, it seems that normally these two things don't usually go together, but believe me I have sites on the free plan for personal projects, and you rarely see that in a hosted service. And if you have any problems, they will help.
