What differentiates Tableau from other similar products?

Advanced visuals/charts specifically available in this products along with robust security and ask data, revision history feature, easy integration with external services.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It helps people and its user to make visualization much more data driven which can provides insights and visuals easily on the data model and help business layer to gain the benefits. Dashboarding with quality visuals, sharing these reports and dashboards with people across the organization with high security, Live connection to some of the data connectors which makes reports live and scheduled.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I dislike the limitation which is limited option of connecting with source data, I think data connectors should not be limited in todays scenarios where each and every application/website is producing lakhs of data in multiple formats and multiple locations.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would love to recommend this product to individuals as well as companies to make use of it and prepare business solutions and insights easily in few hours of efforts. It is very easy to start working on this product even for a beginner.

What differentiates Tableau from other similar products?

Tableau is becoming more and more common. It's easy to use out of the box with little training. You will need help from IT to get the data sources setup but after that you should have relatively easy path to create some visualizations.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like the ease of use out of the box. I had little training to get started and was able to create some reports right away. As anything, the more you use it, the easier tasks become.

What do you dislike most about this product?

One of the difficulties with Tableau is the mapping piece. It maps nice but doesn't like to play well when dealing with multiple countries.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The cost is less expensive than some of the higher more complex tools. This product gives you solid functionality at a fraction of the cost. Great decision.
