What differentiates TeamDynamix Sassafras from other similar products?
What really sets Sassafras AllSight apart from other IT asset management tools is its balance of depth and simplicity. A lot of platforms either overwhelm you with complexity or fall short on the insights you actually need—AllSight hits the sweet spot.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favourite aspect of Sassafras AllSight has to be its real-time software usage tracking. It’s incredibly insightful—not just telling you what software is installed, but how often it's actually being used, by whom, and for how long.
What do you dislike most about this product?
If I had to pick something I dislike most about Sassafras AllSight, it would be that the initial setup can feel a bit overwhelming, especially for teams without prior experience in IT asset management tools.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you're considering Sassafras AllSight, my recommendation is to take the time to plan your setup carefully, as it’s a powerful tool that comes with a bit of a learning curve. Outline what you want to track, who needs access, and how you want your reports structured to avoid wasting time later. Don’t hesitate to reach out to their support team—they’re extremely responsive and knowledgeable, and can help you optimise your configuration

What differentiates TeamDynamix Sassafras from other similar products?
As a newer system administrator, i was given the role of Allsight admin. we were not utilizing the product to the fullest until I stepped into the role. the ease of use, the customization, the integration to our Teamdynamix ticketing system and best of all the support they have is outstanding
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
the reporting aspect has put many many things into perspective for our organization and has had major impacts on purchasing decisions.
What do you dislike most about this product?
there are really no dislikes and i get putting out new features is better in batches but more updates more frequently is what I would like to see
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
the product can be overwhelming at first but once given the time, it's easy to learn. Use the Web UI instead of the admin console, I was stuck in the admin console for so long and using the web UI saved myself a lot of time for running reports.
