Great AI features for smart element location. Testing web, desktop and mobile apps in one tool.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The AI smart element locator.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Could have a better support for git peer reviews and approvals. Could have better support GUI for API testing and requests.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you can afford the cost, it is a great tool. Suitable for teams who are new to automation testing and do not have great coding skills. Great for products with multiple clients - web, desktop, mobile apps.

Great tool to jump start your automation testing

What differentiates TestComplete from other similar products?

Good support for Desktop and Mobile applications. Good AI for locating changes in the AUT.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The AI that locates components, even when there were changes, saves a lot of time for test maintenance.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Could be better support for shell scripting in tests.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you need to test Desktop or Mobile apps, this is a pretty good tool. If you need to test a Web UI, there are a lot of cheaper or even free alternatives. Consider TestComplete if you need to quickly start automation testing and don't have experienced people on the team. The record and replay functionality would make it easier for people who are new to automated testing.
