What differentiates Trend Vision One from other similar products?

Trend Micro PortalProtect ensures collaboration with companies and employees. This software is very efficient and useful when it comes to sharing and storing files. Usually, we store all project-related files there. If the specification changes or there are new software requirements, all related items exist here and can be easily found. Our organization purchased Trend Micro PortalProtect for Microsoft SharePoint to connect our organization's employees and protect the systems from malicious attacks, malware and other threats.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Trend Micro provides a fully integrated environment for detecting malware and viruses on corporate networks. It is installed on the client side, but more importantly, it reports all malware detections to the web-based server component, allowing efficient data reporting through the web console. It provides protection against various password cracking tools and spyware. It does a good job protecting my device from viruses, malware, ransomware or hacking. I also really like that it protects my Android phone for free.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Scanning can bog down slower computers, and even faster computers will notice it when scanning. Policy changes cannot be applied to multiple groups. This can be a real hassle when whitelisting multiple folders in Windows when you have many groups. There were months when Windows 10 was released and the software took full control of the computer at logon, and it took them a long time to find a solution. MAC installations have not always been easy. While this product saves me time, it is third on my list and I wish the software had been more proactive in looking for antivirus and malware that Malwarebytes could easily detect.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

When working on any software requirement or development project, there are times when it is necessary to change or update project specifications. In such cases, Trend Micro PortalProtect for Microsoft SharePoint is very handy and useful. It saves a lot of time getting those files and getting the job done. Trend Micro PortalProtect for Microsoft SharePoint protects our organization's sensitive and important data from damage and theft. The file sharing feature provided by Trend Micro PortalProtect for Microsoft SharePoint is very useful for communication between employees.
