What differentiates UKG Pro from other similar products?
The ability to interact with other customers to find solutions. Sharing ideas w/UKG that they actually take into consideration, implement & shown as a customer idea during each Spring/Fall Release. Ease of contacting & connect with your Exec Relationship Manager, Lead Acct Manager and specific Solutions Consultants. UKG gives you the opportunity to edit labels within the system while working on specific pages. The ability to create platform configured fields and to be able to import data into those fields and report off of them is important and used frequently by our company. The ability to share reports with other customers is great.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Customization ability. Reporting assistance from other customers, along with Solution Consultants and the training opportunities found within the Customer Success Portal and during their annual Connections Conference. The collaboration and networking they provide is invaluable.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I wish that they were more consistent with features. For example, keeping user preferences when accessing different areas of the system; sometimes the changes "stick" and sometimes they don't. If a preference is made to one page, make it the same across all pages/areas that use the same format. For example, preferred selection to view 50 records on a search screen should mean that all search screens default to view 50. The ability to allow editing of more workflows during approval process vs. less than a handful at this time which would increase efficiencies for all levels of the company.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Ask to speak with a solutions consultant about some of your specific needs. Sales folks will tell you what you want to hear, but not necessarily be able to answer your in depth questions about what the product can do and what may cost extra to implement the type of solution you need. This is true for any vendor you work with.

Easy to use, but needs more customization

What differentiates UKG Pro from other similar products?
UKG Pro really cares about their own employees, which is great, because it reflects in the customer service they provide. Employees are generally very happy and really excited to get started helping customers.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The Customer Success Portal and availability of vendor support.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I wish more was customizable, especially for compensation plans and performance reviews. Also, there are some issues with purchasing additional modules to fully use delivered modules.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Really engage with your ERM when you first enroll; they are great and will always help you!
